There have been reports of a shooting incident in Wellampitiya today (09).
According to police the shooting had taken place in the Brandiyawatta area of Wellampitiya.
One individual has sustained injuries from the incident, and has been admitted to Colombo National Hospital for treatment.
Investigations regarding the incident have been initiated by Wellampitiya police.
