The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ruled that the death of Businessman, late Dinesh Schaffter was a crime.
The announcement was made today (31).
The ruling was based on the report released by the with the 5-member Expert Panel, which was appointed to look into Schaffter’s death.
The panel concluded that Schaffter’s death was caused by pressure applied to the areas of neck and face.
