The Inter Provincial Private Bus Association (IPPBA) has announced a 4% reduction in bus fares, setting the minimum fare at Rs. 25.
During a media briefing, Anjana Priyanjith, Chief Secretary of IPPBA, highlighted that the overall bus fare has decreased by Rs. 34, factoring in the adjustments in fuel prices between last month and this month.
The recent fuel price adjustments included a Rs. 24 reduction per liter of auto diesel as of last night and a Rs. 10 decrease in fuel prices during the September revision.
