The 47th Milo Sri Lanka Schools’ Swimming Championships came to an end yesterday (11) after four days of thrilling action at the Sugathadasa Swimming Complex.
Visakha Vidyalaya, who were leading since the second day, maintained their lead and secured the overall girls’ championship with 475 points. In second place was Ladies’ College with 301.5 while Lyceum International Wattala registered 267 points.
St. Joseph’s College were on top from day one and eased their way into the overall boys’ championship, beating arch-rivals St. Peter’s College by securing 613 points. The Peterites secured 402 points, while in third place was Ananda College with 300.
