A disciplinary inquiry has been launched against Dr. Rukshan Bellana, the Deputy Director of the Colombo National Hospital, for making comments to the media regarding the health condition of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
This announcement was made by the Deputy Health Minister, Dr Hansaka Wijemuni.
Earlier today, Dr Bellana told the media that one ‘only needs brains when ruling a country ‘, while speaking about Wickremesinghe’s multiple health conditions.
