NPP to Pursue Diplomatic Efforts for Release of Sri Lankan Workers’ Social Security Funds from Cyprus

During a ceremony in Colombo, National People’s Power (NPP) Member of Parliament Lakshman Nipuna Arachchi announced plans to initiate diplomatic measures aimed at securing the release of social security funds owed to Sri Lankan workers in Cyprus. He emphasized the pressing issue of these workers being unable to reclaim deducted contributions from their salaries and assured that efforts are underway to facilitate the return of these funds to Sri Lanka.
