Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has mandated an investigation into a concerning incident where seven second-year students from the Faculty of Agriculture at Sabaragamuwa University became ill after receiving vaccinations at the university’s medical center. The affected students have been hospitalized for further treatment. In her directive, the Prime Minister instructed the Chairman of the University Grants Commission, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, and the Medical Officer of Balangoda Base Hospital to evaluate the students’ health and expedite the investigation.
