The Court of Appeal has mandated hospital authorities to provide a health report for former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte, currently in remand related to an unregistered luxury vehicle case. Ratwatte is receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Colombo. His attorney, Sanjay Rajaratnam, sought interim relief through a writ application, while Deputy Solicitor General Shanil Kularatne indicated the need for limited objections from the Attorney General by November 29. The case is set for a hearing on December 9 before a two-judge panel, as Ratwatte seeks bail in connection with the matter.
