The emergency situation declared at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) due to a bomb threat has been lifted after no explosives were detected on the Indian Vistara flight that arrived from Mumbai.
Initially, both passengers and crew aboard the aircraft were screened and safely evacuated. Following that, the baggage storage area of the plane was thoroughly examined.
