“Illagolla Udagala Uda Vidyalaya” the only school in the illagolla area seeks support to construct a new building for the school.
Currently, about 500 students attend the school, and face many difficulties in their learning process due to the insufficiency of stable, covered school buildings and the lack of playgrounds, science labs etc.
“We are unable to go to school during the rainy season because our books are prone to get wet,” a student noted.
The parents of the students further added that they are willing to contribute with labour to help the process of building the facility.
