A total of 77 political parties have been acknowledged as recognized political parties for the upcoming General Election.
The National Election Commission has issued a Gazette notification announcing the list of recognized political parties that are eligible to contest the elections.
Dated 28 September 2024, the Gazette has been issued under Section 7 (4) (b) of the Parliamentary Elections Act, No. 01 of 1981.
