USD selling rate drops below Rs 300 for first time in 15 months

The US dollar selling rate has dropped below Rs. 300 for the first time since June 8, 2023.

As reported by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the selling rate for one US dollar is now at Rs. 299.35, with the buying rate at Rs. 290.30.
