President Ranil Wickremesinghe has expressed his shock about the assassination attempt on former United States of America President Donald Trump and was relieved to learn that he is safe.
This was made known via the President’s Media Division (PMD) today (14).
The President stated that Sri Lankans have been at the receiving end of such violence in politics, and urged all to adhere to the laws protecting Democracy.
