French Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Jean Francois Pactet, has died of a suspected cardiac arrest at his official residence in Rajagiriya today (26).
“The 53-year-old ambassador was found dead at his residence this morning. The ambassador did not come out of his room today, and when this was investigated, he was found dead,” said Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa
The Welikada Police are investigating the incident, and a post-mortem examination is yet to be conducted.
