At the United National Party (UNP) special convention held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium yesterday (21), President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced that, in accordance with the constitution, the presidential election is scheduled for next year.
He further mentioned that this will be followed by a parliamentary election and the provincial council election in early 2025.
