The severed head of an unidentified person has been discovered in the Parana Ambalama Beach in Pamunugama this morning (12).
Police said that the severed head was found based on information received by Pamunugama Police this morning, while the head has decomposed beyond recognition.
The magistrate’s inquest regarding the finding is scheduled to be carried out, while Pamunugama Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
