Security officials at the Kalutara Prison have recovered a substance suspected to be heroin, concealed inside plantains.
Reportedly , this suspected heroin had been carefully concealed inside straws and placed inside the plantains brought to be given to prison inmates.
Police is currently investigating the source of the fruits.
