Emmanuel Macron, President of France, has requested support to stop the ongoing Russian-Ukranian war from Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Europe is no longer in a stable and safe condition due to the Russian-Ukranian war, said Macron.
According to Macron, the Chinese President had declared that he believed nuclear weapons should not be used in the war.
Xi Jinping had further noted that the responsibility of protecting world peace was up to France and China.
President of the European Commision, Ursula von der Leyen, had also attended the discussion at the invitation of President Macron.
She had stated that it would be against the international law for China to supply weapons to Russia, and that it would harm the relationship between China and the European Commission.
