A specialized workshop for newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) of the 10th Parliament is set to take place on November 25, 26, and 27, as announced by Acting Secretary General of Parliament, Chaminda Kularatne.
The workshop will cover essential topics such as parliamentary procedures, session activities, and the operation of committees, equipping new MPs with vital knowledge for their roles. Registration for the newly elected MPs will occur on November 18, 19, and 20 at the parliamentary premises, with dedicated teams of officials available to assist in the process.
To ensure the smooth execution of these activities, parliamentary staff will have their leave suspended from November 18 to 22.
