Sri Lanka police has identified a female, dressed as a lawyer, assist in the shooting that took place at the Aluthkade Magistrates court this morning, which killed popular underworld figure ‘Ganemulla Sanjeewa’.
Police Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manathuga announced that a female, dressed as a lawyer, had managed to enter the courtroom with the firearm concealed within a copy of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The pages within the book were carefully cut in the shape of the firearm, and the revolver used in the shooting was found within the court premises.
