It has been reported that arrested Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has asked all party leaders to unite in the battle for democracy, setting apart party politics.
Wickremesinghe, who is currently in the ICU at the National Hospital in Colombo, is under close medical watch as his health has detoriated considerably since his arrest.
Close hospital sources have revealed that his current condition is stable but had aggravated due to dehydration and stress.
