Three individuals have been left injured following the falling of a tree on a private passenger bus at Aluthambalama in Kosgama.
In the midst of the heavy downpour yesterday evening (30), a tree fell on a route No. 122 (Colombo–Avissawella) private bus as it was travelling towards Avissawella.
Due to the incident, it has been reported that vehicular movement on the Colombo – Avissawella main road had also been disrupted.
According to Kosgama Police, the section of Kosgama’s blocked High-Level Road has now been restored for vehicular use, following the removal of the tree.
