Controversial tution teacher, Hayeshika Fernando, is currently on the run after kicking a child in his testicles.
Fernando’s husband and manager were arrested by the Katana Police in connection with the case, while Fernando is still yet to be found and is suspected to be in hiding.
The teacher, who conducts tuition classes for children attending their Grade 5 scholarship exams, is very popular, especially after a fiasco last month where she held a VIP style ceremony at the BMICH last month.
Her ceremony came under scrutiny after it emerged that she had obtained police vehicles and came with a police escort to the BMICH, perks similar to what the Prime Minister or President of the country could obtain.
The victim, a child from her tution class, is currently being treated at the Negombo base hospital.
