The rainy conditions in the south-western part of the island are expected to enhance in the next few days from tomorrow (19), the Meteorology Department has announced.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western Provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
Additionally, strong winds of 50 kmph can be expected over the western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-Central and North-Western Provinces and in the Trincomalee, Hambantota and Moneragala districts.
