The second term test of schools in the Southern Province, which were not held due to the floods, will be held from today (16), the Southern Province Education Director announced.
Furthermore, he mentioned that separate term tests will be held later for students who still remain displaced due to the floods.
The Education Ministry had decided to close all government schools in the Galle and Matara Districts on Monday and Tuesday last week due to the inclement weather conditions experienced in those areas.
As a result, the Governor of the Southern Province had also decided to postpone the Term Tests of schools in the province, which were scheduled to commence from October 12.
