President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has directed officials from the Ministry of Finance to implement a monthly interim allowance of Rs. 3,000 for all pensioners starting next week.
Following a review of the delay in including the Rs. 3,000 allowance in the October pension, the President instructed that this amount be credited to the pensioners’ accounts within the coming week, according to the President’s Media Division.
