Self styled ‘Prophet’ Jerome Fernando, who is currently in remand since the beginning of this month, had applied for a release in bail from the court of appeal, and the hearing is determined to be on the 4th of January 2024.
The Colombo High Court today fixed the inquiry of the bail application filed by Pastor Jerome Fernando’s lawyers, and the date was determined when the bail application was taken up before High Court Judge Aditya Patabendi today.
Fernando was arrested on the 1st of December by the CID when he arrived into Sri Lanka after almost 5 months of staying abroad, despite a travel ban being imposed on him.
