The National People’s Power (NPP) secured a landslide victory in the postal vote result of the Ratnapura District securing 24, 776 votes.
The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) came second with 2,969 while the New Democratic Front (NDF) secured 1,528 votes, and the Sri lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) secured 1,031 votes.
