The body of a 35-year-old male from Kahawaththa has been found by the police yesterday (19).
It was made known by the Sri Lanka Police that the deceased was a labourer , who had started work at a land named “Moragolla Watte” five days ago.
The body was found lying on a gun in a property named “Kandewatta”, next to Moragolla watte..
During the investigation the police had come across a dead porcupine, a torch and a mobile phone.
Currently the body is kept in the Kurunegala Hospital for the postmortem, and further investigations will be conducted by the Pothuhera Police station.
