The Ministry of Education has revealed the new schedule for the GCE Advanced Level Examinations, which were postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The exams originally planned for December 4 will proceed as scheduled, featuring the Chemistry First Paper and Science for Technology First Paper in the morning, alongside the Sinhala, Tamil, and English First Papers for Drama Theatre, and the Political Science First Paper in the evening.
For subjects that were postponed, new dates have been established: subjects affected on Wednesday, November 27, will now take place on Saturday, December 21; those from Thursday, November 28, will be held on Monday, December 23; Friday, November 29’s exams will occur on Friday, December 27; Saturday, November 30’s subjects will be rescheduled for Saturday, December 28; Monday, December 2’s exams will be on Monday, December 30; and Tuesday, December 3’s subjects will occur on Tuesday, December 31.
Additionally, the general knowledge examination is set for Saturday, December 7, with a new timetable to be provided in a distinct color on that day.
