The Sri Lanka Police is seeking public assistance in tracking down a suspect connected to the recent shooting and killing of an individual in Gemunupura, Sripura.
The suspect, Gayan Sugathadasa, is still at large and the public is informed to report his whereabouts to the nearest police station.
The shooting had been carried out using a T56 assault rifle by two gunmen who had arrived on a motorcycle on August 16, 2024.
Police have also released photographs and details of the suspect in question.
