Prophet Jerome Fernando has returned to his home country, Sri Lanka, early this morning (29).
The self-styled Prophet is due to appear at the CID within 48 hours to give a statement as per a court order, sources close to The Newsdesk has revealed.
Fernando left the country earlier this year after a warrant was issued for his arrest after making controversial statements against other religions in the country. Upon further investigations, allegations for money laundering were also raised against Fernando.
