Google has reached an agreement to utilize small nuclear reactors for generating the substantial energy required to power its artificial intelligence (AI) data centres.
According to the company, the partnership with Kairos Power will see the first reactor operational within this decade, with additional reactors planned to come online by 2035.
However, specifics regarding the financial terms of the deal and the locations of the plants have not been disclosed.
