Former Parliamentarian and Minister Dilum Amunugama has recently joined the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP).
Originally a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) member, Amunugama previously served as the State Minister of Investment Promotion under the Ranil Wickremesinghe-led government.
The leader of the party, Dilith Jayaweera, communicated through a post on X that Amunugama has been designated as the National Organiser of the Mawbima Janatha Party.
Dilith Jayaweera expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I warmly welcome former Minister and Parliamentarian Dilum Amunugama as the National Organiser of the Mawbima Janatha Party. We are preparing for our next battle at the general election.”
