This year the Customs Department has achieved a record-breaking revenue of Rs. 1 trillion, according to Director General of Customs, Sarath Nonis.
He noted that this is the first time in the department’s history that customs revenue has reached Rs. 1 trillion.
Nonis also expressed confidence in acheiving the Rs. 1.5 trillion target set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for 2024, the President’s Media Division said.
