Officers of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday (24) told the court that information had been uncovered about an alleged plot to execute a terrorist-like attack, designed to aid the escape of notorious criminal figure ‘Harak Kata’ who is currently in custody.
CID officers have been ordered by Columbo Fort Magistrate Thilina to conduct an investigation into the alleged plot and called for a report on the findings.
