NPP candidate from the Jaffna District MP Dr. Ramanathan Archuna was arrested in Jaffna over obstructing duties of police officers, Police Media spokesman SSP Buddhika Manatunge announced today (29).
The Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court had earlier ordered the police to carry out further investigations into the incident involving MP Archchuna Ramanathan who allegedly obstructed the duties of police personnel in the Rambewa area of Anuradhapura.
