The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy Sail Training Warship ‘PO LANG’ arrived at the port of Colombo today (October 8) for a formal visit.
‘PO LANG’ is an 86-meter-long sail training vessel with a crew of 130, including 35 officer cadets.
The ship’s Commanding Officer, Commander Ma Wenyong, is scheduled to meet with Rear Admiral Chinthaka Kumarasinghe, Commander of the Western Naval Area, at the Western Naval Command Headquarters today.
The warship is scheduled to depart the island on October 11.
