The Cabinet has officially approved President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s proposal to create a ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ Fund. Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa announced that a Presidential Task Force will also be appointed to oversee the management of the Fund.
Under the proposed initiative, the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program will be executed through the Presidential Secretariat, with an Administrative Board responsible for administering the funds. This initiative aims to enhance cleanliness and environmental sustainability across the nation, reflecting the government’s commitment to a healthier and cleaner Sri Lanka.
