Further to the invite extended by the United National Party (UNP) General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara for Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs Eran Wickramaratne, Harsha De Silva, Kabir Hashim and Thalatha Athulorale to join forces with the UNP, it has been CONFIRMED that NONE of the aforementioned SJB MPs will be joining the UNP.
Speaking to The Newsdesk SL a short while ago (16), former SJB Youth Vice Chairman Rehan Jayawickreme confirmed that the invitees are not going to jump parties.
“Several claims have been made on social media, but that’s not true. I just checked with Harsha De Silva and he confirmed that none of those who were invited are leaving the SJB to join any party,” said Jayawickreme.
