According to State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe. “Aswesuma” payments for August will be credited to the beneficiary accounts on November 01.
The September allowances will also be credited during November, he said.
It was further stated by Semasinghe that the Aswesuma” applicants who were not selected for the scheme due to management and technical issues will be screened again during Aswesuma Week” held from 06 to 12 November.
The State Minister added that the eligible individuals selected will receive the benefits with effect from July 2023. These observations were made during a press conference held at the Presidential Media Centre today (30).
