AKD directs to increase fertiliser subsidy for paddy farmers

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has instructed the Treasury to boost the fertilizer subsidy for paddy farmers from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 per hectare for the upcoming 2024/25 Maha season.

The President’s Media Division (PMD) announced that the increased subsidy will take effect from October 01.
