Senior Additional Solicitor General Parinda Ranasinghe PC took oaths today (01) as the Acting Attorney General before the Chief Justice a short while ago.
Earlier last week former AG Sanjaya Rajaratnam stepped down following the rejection by the constitutional council for his extension for an additional term of 6 months which was requested twice by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
