Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara appointed Chief of Staff in Army

 Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment has been newly appointed as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army with effect from September 16. 

The appointment was made by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army.
